Just so there's no misunderstanding: We at Mütze, located in our stylish shop at Oststr. 119 in Düsseldorf, work with brands like Orbea, Cannondale, Ritchey, Cicli Barco, Genesis, Open, Veloheld, Brother Cycles, Jamis, KOCMO, Pelago, Omnium, Ahooga, Muli, and several others. We offer a wide selection of road and gravel bikes in all sizes and strive to have various models set up in the shop in sizes XS to XXL. Currently, we have around 80 different bikes in our showroom, giving you a good overview of our extensive range in the road and gravel bike segments. Since we're not only passionate about cycling but also see the shift in mobility as inevitable, we also offer some favorites for urban solutions alongside our sporty bikes. We particularly appreciate the cargo bikes from Omnium in Denmark and Muli in Cologne, both the human-powered and electric versions. We also offer the Ahooga, a folding bike from Belgium that rides like a normal bike, even though it folds easily and can be transported without any problems on trains or in cars. This is thanks to the frame design and the 20-inch wheels, which can even withstand gravel riding without damage.
In addition to complete bikes, we can help you create your dream build based on a frameset. We always have a wide selection of frames in stock, even more than are currently offered in our shop. You have various material options: our partners offer steel, stainless steel, titanium, or carbon fiber. The builds can be equipped with groupsets from Shimano, SRAM, or Campagnolo. There are also numerous component options, from a one-piece, fully integrated carbon cockpit to a traditional build with individual parts – anything is possible, whether from our favorite, Ritchey, or a brand like Deda or Zipp. We also offer a wide range of wheelsets, from complete sets by Hunt, DT Swiss, Shimano, Scope, and Campagnolo, to hand-built wheels from us using rims and hubs from all the leading manufacturers, such as Hope, Duke, Erase, and DT Swiss. We'll find exciting and customized solutions for you.
In our on-site discussions, we often hear that our advice is highly valued. There are probably colleagues who are more adept at handling data and test results, but our primary focus in making our selections is driven by our own experience. Through our collaboration with Düsseldorf-based bike fitter Nils from MotivAktiv, we can offer you a practical solution for Orbea's MYO Custom program: we provide the desired bike in the correct size for a fitting before purchase, and all details such as stem or crank length and handlebar width can then be taken into account by Orbea directly during the ordering process and implemented at no extra charge. Please allow some patience when placing your order.
Technical instruction and adjusting the bike to your height complete our consultation process for bike purchases. Therefore, we always request that bikes be picked up in person; we only offer shipping of complete bikes or bike builds in exceptional circumstances.
