Ritchey Garden City Ltd. Frameset Midnight Violet
Tom Ritchey's experience in frame building is undeniable, but a track frame with Ritchey seems a bit unusual at first. However, Tom was already brazing track frames in the 1970s, so his expertise in this field is also based on several years of experience.
The Garden City, named after the San Jose track cycling team, is made from Tom's double-butted Logic tubing, comes in dark purple, and is limited to 100 units worldwide. We're pleased to offer you the last ones in Europe.
The frame is naturally designed as a track frame, but will surely also find favor with the fixed-crit peloton or urban minimalists. The existing brake holes in the fork and rear stay allow for road use. The maximum tire width always depends on the wheels or rims and the installed front brake, but 28mm should be suitable in most cases.
We showcased our idea for a build at Cyclingworld 2025, but your imagination is almost limitless. Whether a build with classic silver components or all black, colorful anodized parts or a simple and understated look—the base allows for a lot of possibilities.
