Ritchey Montebello frameset
With the Montebello, Tom Ritchey and his crew offer a sophisticated frameset for long-distance riders with attention to detail. Just like the RoadLogic road racer, the Montebello frame is built from the lightweight, triple-butted Logic tube set, but a longer head tube, longer wheelbase and a lower bottom bracket ensure a geometry suitable for long distances. It's not without reason that we are big fans of the Ritchey framesets; Tom's special feeling for geometry and his more than 50 years of experience in frame building give the bikes the often-invoked "special sauce".
The Montebello frameset comes with the new Brevet carbon fork, offers space for 40mm wide tires without mudguards (approx. 36mm with mudguards), is prepared for both mechanical and electric gears and lighting systems. Mounting points for the luggage rack and porteur rack also allow for more luggage than the usual Paris-Brest-Paris graduates need, but this means that the bike trip can also be tackled with light luggage. A classic Randonneur with a modern design that can be perfectly built up with silver or black add-on parts in the "Hot Sauce" color scheme.
