GOOD TIME FASTER - Women's Cycling - special series
Once a month, the Good Time Faster Train now rolls – supplementing our well-known Good Time Tuesday format. Unlike the Tuesday rides, there's a rotation here, meaning everyone gets a turn to lead and provide a slipstream for others. The meeting point is at 5:45 PM at the Fleher Brücke, and departure is at 6 PM. We ride a consistent, flat loop to the slag heap (~55km) and end back at the Fleher Brücke. Afterwards, for those who are interested, there's a regulars' table at the Kürzer brewery in Fichtenstraße, Flingern.
This ride is aimed at experienced female riders who are comfortable riding in groups, familiar with hand signals and similar conventions, and able to manage their bike and their energy well.
The goal is to provide a new training stimulus and to be able to hold your own at the front, against the wind. The pace will be between 26-28km/h, depending on the group and wind conditions.
Participation is by prior registration only.
We attach great importance to being perceived as a disciplined and well-organized group.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go 100% to a good cause. Whether for World Bicycle Relief or Cycle4Waters, or a combination, will be decided over the course of the season.
