The classic ride at Cyclingworld 2026
As part of Cyclingworld, Schicke Mütze and https://www.klassikerausfahrt.de/ invite you to a ride for friends of classic racing bikes. For the fourth year running, the classic bike ride will take place as part of Cyclingworld. Like last year, we're hoping for perfect weather so that these polished treasures can shine in all their glory under the sunshine. But the ride will go ahead even if it's cloudy or rainy, true to the motto: there's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing. All cycling enthusiasts who own classic racing bikes are welcome to participate. As a general rule, we adhere to the guidelines of our Eroica colleagues in Italy: exposed brake cables, toe clips on the pedals, and downtube shifters. To avoid unnecessary risks, a helmet is mandatory.
Look forward to:
- an enjoyable route (approx. 70km) around Düsseldorf on paved paths with gentle inclines.
- Guided ride in the peloton at a relaxed pace.
- When: Departure on March 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. Meeting at 10:00 a.m.
- Where: Main entrance to the trade fair at the bicycle parking area on the Böhler grounds
- Who: Participation is limited to 40 starters.
- Suitable for: Classic, roadworthy racing bikes with baskets, pedals and frame shifters.
- How much: Tickets for this trip cost €20.
Included in the price is a ticket for Cyclingworld. We'll also make a stop along the way where you'll be treated to a snack and drinks. Further details, including route information, will be sent to you in due course.
