Rund um die Kö 2023

Rund um die Kö 2023

We're sure you're all well informed, but we still want to get rid of some information about our big Düsseldorf cycling spectacle on the Königsallee. After all, it's not just Sunday that lures you to the Kö, but the supporting program on Friday and Saturday already has a lot to offer the cycling community.

To kick things off, we invite you to the courtyard at Oststrasse 119 on Friday from 7:00 p.m. to celebrate the draw of the pairings for the Düsseldorf City Championships together with you and to take a look at the weekend. While the event was originally intended for the team captains, it has blossomed into a nice little event in recent years, there are cool drinks, small snacks (from Bulle!), lively sounds and an entertaining presentation about the draw.

Classic exit Chic cap Düsseldorf Brooks

On Saturday morning, the friends of classic steel racers start on a tour of the Lower Rhine area. Eroica main sponsor Brooks invites us to a relaxed party including an art-spiced pasta party in the Park of the Senses in Kaarst. So polish the silver rims, oil your chains and roll on a nice tour with Volker and Andi. You can get everything you need to know and the donation tickets for the exit here: Eventbrite

At noon, the all-around-the-Kö comrades-in-arms from the Cycling Club Düsseldorf invite you to a relaxed social ride in the surrounding area, almost 100 kilometers are on the clock after the return. Click here for registration.

Women's movement racing bike Chic cap Düsseldorf around the Kö IRIS 2023

The trips with Iris Slappendel and the Rennrad women's movement on the eve of the Kö race as a relaxed warm-up lap over 50 kilometers are almost a tradition. Iris will be at the start in person again this year, which makes us all the happier given her commentary work for Eurosport as part of the World Cup. Here you will find all the information and the donation tickets.

On Sunday morning we will all stand on the Kö with far too little sleep, set up stands, help where we can and look forward to a great day together with you. Let's hope that the weathermen are right and that summer is back just in time for the weekend and that we all have a day full of races, with many exhibitors, with the best food, the finest drinks and the best musical implementation of the racing events at the car-free can enjoy Königsallee. The schedule and much more can be found on the event website.

We are counting on you being at the start with man and mouse and on Sunday the body will be full. After all, all starters, from balance bikes to elite races, from fixed crit to cargo bikes, from women's races to city championships, should be able to look forward to great support and a great audience. Let's show the athletes what great places Düsseldorf and Königsallee are to celebrate great bike races. With everything that goes with it...

Chain right, let's go to a hopefully wonderful cycling weekend in Düsseldorf.
