Even if spring feelings are still difficult at the current temperatures, one cannot deny that a new cycling season is just around the corner. The clocks may be going back to daylight saving time for the last time, which is why we are starting the new series of events on March 28 with fresh impetus. No longer under the charming title "Rookies, Chillah, Tempokillah" but simply titled "Wednesday at 6". The reason for this is the development of the group, which has been coming together for three years in some places and where it would be fraudulent if we didn't finally nibble off the rookies signet. This does not contradict the fact that the MI6 round, as it is called internally, is still a relaxed after-work event on wheels, or “social ride” in German. And therefore still well suited to familiarize yourself with racing bike rides in a group. Maybe not the perfect start for the absolute beginner, but if you can complete 50 kilometers on the road bike alone without any problems, you should be able to get started in spring wonderfully. And those who attend regularly will also make their progress in the group with a smile on their faces over the course of the season.

We start with flat 60-70 kilometers in March, but will also like to include an easy hill tour or longer tour on the long evenings in the middle of the season. Flexible, as the season and the framework conditions offer. The events are announced via Facebook as well as via Strava, if you avoid both, you can also just stand here “Wednesday at 6”. And after the tours you just sit down together with a beer in or in front of your hat.
