The nice thing about the Luchos Bocadillos is the dried leaf as packaging. It is biodegradable and compostable, just like any other leaf that falls from a tree. On the way you can get rid of the shell of your energy bar without a guilty conscience and we have also saved plastic in this way.

(However, it has to be said that the 10-packs of Energy Blocks are covered with a thin plastic film and in the 1-packs each individual bar has to be wrapped in plastic. Unfortunately, it is still not possible to do without plastic completely)

Guava is a super fruit because it contains a damn high amount of vitamin C (4 times more than oranges), lots of vitamin A and vitamins from the B complex (pantothenic acid, niacin, B6), minerals and trace elements such as magnesium, copper and manganese as well neat flavonoids such as beta-carotene, lycopene, lutein and cryptoxanthine.

These flavonoids are known to be powerful antioxidants that can help you last longer on the go and recover better after exercise. Because antioxidants capture free radicals and thus have an anti-inflammatory effect.

Thanks to the antioxidants and the high vitamin C content (also a radical scavenger), the Energy Blocks are not only an excellent source of energy, but also provide you with the necessary portion of regeneration boosters.

Luchos are produced according to old tradition in Colombia and contain only guava paste, a little sugar and, depending on the taste, some raspberries, some acai berries or some coffee as main ingredients.
